If you're a student, please have a school administrator or teacher fill this application on your behalf or email proof of enrollment, or come by our shop with proof of enrollment. If you represent a not-for-profit or First Nations organization or a Government, put your own contact information in these cells.

Desktop - Extra Options

Hardware upgrades may be available. Please let us know in "Additional Comments". We can help install new hardware that you purchase on your own, and normally we also have:

Premium Monitor - 20+" Widescreen Monitor on its own ($40.00)

If you're buying a desktop, we now include a premium monitor bundled for free along with a keyboard and mouse.

SSD (solid state) hard drive - We have a variety of capacity drives both used and new. Please ask for pricing.
We can order in other capacity SSD's if requested. There will be a delay as it gets shipped to us.

Desktops don't have built in WiFi capability, so we also generally have wireless internal cards or USB receivers now (ask for pricing).

CAT6 Ethernet Cable (custom lengths) - $0.40/foot - just add a note to the Additional Comments at the end

Desktops

A desktop comes with a Core i3 or better processor, 8GB of RAM, and 120GB or larger hard drive. Depending on our inventory, also a premium monitor, keyboard, and mouse. Mention in the "Additional comments" if you need wireless (WiFi) connectivity as our desktops don't have a wireless solution built in.
Operating System for Desktop(s)
You will need an operating system in order to install any programs and use the computer. The option for "No Operating System" means that you intend to install your own. Linux is our favourite here at the office for it's stability and security. Let us know in "Additional Comments" if you would like a better explanation.

Monitor
The option to get a monitor on its own without a desktop request is near the bottom of this form under "Solo Monitors".

All-In-One (AIO) Computer

An AIO is a desktop computer built inside of a monitor as a single unit, so there's a saving on desk space. It comes with a Core i3 or better processor, 8GB of RAM, and 120GB or larger hard drive. Depending on our inventory, also a keyboard and mouse. An AIO (unlike our desktop computers) has built-in WiFi connectivity as well!

You will need an operating system in order to install any programs and use the computer. The option for "No Operating System" means that you intend to install your own. Basic Laptops (Depending on Inventory)

A Basic laptop comes with a dual core or early generation i3 processor. They're a budget option for a slower, mobile device running Linux as an operating system.
Operating System for Basic laptop(s)
You will need an operating system in order to install any programs and use the computer. The option for "No Operating System" means that you intend to install your own. Windows isn't an option on our current Basic laptops because it won't run well enough, but Linux will run well and we love it because of how secure and stable it is despite its small footprint. Let us know in "Additional Comments" if you would like a better explanation.

Mid-Grade Laptops

A Mid-Grade laptop comes with a 1st - 3rd Gen Processor, 8GB of RAM, and a 200GB+ Hard Drive. Let us know if you would be interested in an SSD hard drive which we can order in and add to the cost for you.
Operating System for Mid-Grade laptop(s)
You will need an operating system in order to install any programs and use the computer. The option for "No Operating System" means that you intend to install your own. Windows might be limited without the RAM upgrade below. It CAN run with 4GB of RAM, but that's not a lot of space.

Premium Laptops

Please look over your request for any errors, and before you submit this to us, feel free to add any other requests or clarifying information in the "Additional Comments" field below.

We'll email you back with a confirmation when the work order is created, and we're happy to answer any of your questions.

This is whoever will be paying for the computer(s) when picking them up. Currently we accept cash and e-transfer, and we'll provide a receipt, or we can invoice schools and established local non-profits and First Nations organizations and governments.
